Great job! Prompt, high quality. Sam was great. We live out in the country and Sam was the only installer who responded to our inquiry for new garage doors on our massive new construction garage. He came out, measured, gave us a fair bid and we were off and running. Lead time for manufacturer was 4-6 weeks. When the panels arrived he delivered them on a Monday and installed that Thursday. They look great and we are so pleased that Sam took care of us. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

My garage door broke and my car was inside, I had called another company and they told me they couldn’t come out for 2 weeks. So I called Sam and he was very understanding about my dilemma and said he would be here by noon. Sam was on time and had my car freed from the garage within 15 minutes. Sam went out of his way to install and then fix the garage door when there were issues unrelated to his end of the job. First, there was an issue at the manufacturer so the door got delayed. Sam came and installed a temporary plywood door to provide security in my garage while I waited (the door was removed for sheetrocking so I had no way to close it off). Then the motherboard failed on the opener and Sam installed the motherboard from his garage door rather than make me wait for a new one. This was superior service on his part.

Was in a rush to have someone come out and check the garage door to close the sale of my house. Inspector said garage door did not sense force correctly. GDX was able to rush out and give me the all clear on their way to another job. Thank you again for the rush service!

Sam came with one day notice, arrived early, recommended $150 repair rather than $1800 replacement, fixed door on the spot in less than an hour, lubricated and adjusted everything, told me what had happened and why. He had replaced door on my rental earlier this year quickly & professionally and economically...haven't had a better experience with any contractor, these guys are gems!

Our house in Grass Valley was in escrow when I noticed 2 broken hinges on our garage door; the whole door appeared unstable. I called and although they were booked solid, when I explained the situation, they made time to come right out. It wasn't cheap, but they did a great job and got me out of a bind when they easily could have told me they could not come out.

Called them in for a garage door spring repair, which they did the next day, and also set out to work installing and fixing sensors that were not right since I moved in, and the cost for the extra stuff was very minimal. Sam is awesome. The spring snapped on my door Friday at 4pm and i couldn’t get the door open to get our car out. Everyone else is closed of course and i knew we wouldnt be able to do anything until the following week. He showed up Friday and hD it fixed in less than an hour!

The dude knows garage doors! After I troubleshot myself and remained baffled, Sam showed up and within 30 seconds told me what was wrong then fixed it thoughtfully, carefully, didn't rush through the job, explained what was going on, gave me future options, and charged me a very reasonable amount.
